Gadget UK evidence shows most popular removable media. Iomega REV removable hard disk survives everything but being blown up! (Do not forget how easy it is to lose a USB flash key).

I honestly wouldnt if I were you. I got one for my birthday, and all-in-all its not a bad camcorder, but it still has that, and it certainly is a huge minus. There are WAY better ones on the market for the same price, and probably even less.

  • 7. gtarbmx  |  July 30th, 2010 at 5:31 PM

that’s a huge minus, almost makes me not want to buy this

  • 8. CrazyRazorFilms  |  July 30th, 2010 at 6:01 PM

It records it onto .MOD files…its bullshit, and it takes forever to convert the damn things…Idk why it does this…

  • 9. 33fgfhjjggy6y  |  July 30th, 2010 at 6:34 PM

  • 19. VideoGuyNC  |  July 31st, 2010 at 12:26 AM

There should be a USB cable for the cam. A USB cam has a flat end which plugs into your computer’s USB port. The other end plugs into the cam. The other two cables are for charging and hooking up to your TV.

  • 20. aratheartist  |  July 31st, 2010 at 12:46 AM

do you have to have a separate charger for the battery?

  • 27. ubuntututorials  |  July 31st, 2010 at 4:18 AM

They removed the chip from the dead stick, cleaned it up and put it on a new one.

  • 28. widyaiken  |  July 31st, 2010 at 4:39 AM

what year was this video aired in the TV? and what’s the title of this episode?
I tried to find it on their channel but i couldn’t.

  • 29. atripa645  |  July 31st, 2010 at 5:35 AM

I don’t know what the best is but I can personally say I have washed a 1G flash stick in the washing machine and its still works perfect. lol

  • 30. jonnyk5614  |  July 31st, 2010 at 6:05 AM

It annoys me that we didn’t find out if they worked after the pressure test

  • 31. jonnyk5614  |  July 31st, 2010 at 6:58 AM

It is an individual’s video. This isn’t the gadget show’s youtube channel.

  • 32. TheBannedAtheist  |  July 31st, 2010 at 7:08 AM

Because the companies that design and manufacture the flash chips pour billions into designing them and they don’t want anybody to know the secrets of how they work. If you want to know that you’ll have to pay an exorbitant price (which that company must have paid).

  • 33. SpiroEx  |  July 31st, 2010 at 7:17 AM

    Two errors here.

    1. The video seems to stop just short of the end of the article “A fact which may seem a little less suprising when I tell you it uses exactly the same type of solid state memory storage as its all-conquering big br….”

    2. In the blurb at the side you wrote ‘lost’ when you should have written ‘lose’.

Come on guys, you’re a GADGET show on a National TV station, you should be able to get YouTube right!

  • 34. gazm2k5  |  July 31st, 2010 at 7:21 AM

I think it was the pie filling that mucked up the floppy disk.
The explosive thing just ruined it. And what did they mean at the end when they said “Which we’re not allowed to reveal.” Why can’t they reveal how to get memory sticks working again if they break!?

  • 35. Abercr0mbie4life  |  July 31st, 2010 at 7:31 AM

everything but the most durable one of them all…the zip disk.

  • 36. Crazy2cuban  |  July 31st, 2010 at 8:30 AM

this is the gayest shit ever, the first tests did nothing, the second ones completely destroyed all of them. DONT WATCH THIS

  • 37. F1Archives  |  July 31st, 2010 at 8:39 AM

Good stuff, lol. I missed the first 3 series of the gadget show, I only got into in early 2006.
